Happy New Year from Pixie Dust Studio!

Happy New Year! The challenge this week is to create a New Year's card. Use gold or silver as a bonus.

I used gold. I chose "Elfie" from the Festive Fun Collection. I think he is so cute and just perfect to welcome in the New Year!

I took a closeup so you can see the gold. This card looks so much better in real life. It's very sparkly. I used gold sparkle CS, sparkly gold ribbon, and gold Stickles. The DP is a muted gold. DP and CS are from the Anna Griffin Christmas Scrapbook Collection.

Let's Celebrate this Week at Softpencil!

I LOVE the holidays! Two weeks or more of celebrations! Today's digi is "Ratiny in a cupcake". Where is Michu? Probably looking for Ratiny! I used Bazzil Watermelon Pink CS and Basic Grey CS from the Lemonade Collection. The sentiment sticker and border also came with the collection. Easy Peasy to put together!
Stop by the blogs of our talented and creative DT to see what magic they have worked with this image! Their links are in my sidebar. Elizabeth is redesigning her shop and her new creations will soon be revealed! Can't wait!
Wishing everyone a creative and prosperous New Year filled with all good things!
Pretty in Pink!
My card is pink, and my new granddaughter is wearing a pink outfit that I bought when my daughter was pregnant with her.
Are you ready for your ballet lesson? First, let me remove this hat!

Extend your arms.....

                                                                  And begin to twirl!
Leap into the air.....
and make a perfect landing! I hope you enjoyed today's lesson! All of this dancing has tired me out! I'm ready for a nap.
I just couldn't resist posting these pics. The little shoes that Isla is wearing were worn by Isla's mother. I'm so glad I saved them!

It's a Sketch and Color Challenge this Week at Pixie dust Studio!

Use this sketch for your card this week, and the colors red and green. Link your project HERE for a chance to win a digi and a Winner's Badge for your blog!

I didn't get to make a card for this week's challenge. :( The grandkids are in town! :) We have been having so much fun with them!
We went shopping on one of our Adventure Days". We just pile everyone in the car, and they have no idea where we're going until we get there! How fun! My cutie pie grandson fell in love with a pop gun and a coonskin hat. We ended up buying them for him as a Christmas gift. He doesn't know yet, because we bought them while he was throwing artificial snowballs in the play area of the store. Aren't we sneaky!

This is my two month old granddaughter. I think she is adorable! My daughter has dressed her in a different red Christmas outfit every day since she came to visit.

This isn't the best picture, but it's the only one I could get of her smiling. She smiles and tries to "talk" when anyone talks to her. She makes the cutest little baby sounds!
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season!

Merry Christmas from S2G!

Merry Christmas! If you're like me, you are still finishing up last minute holiday details! I used the digi "Domino Gift" for this week's project.

Isn't it cute! I love the wreath around him and the gift bag in his mouth.

I made a treat box that can be hung on a doorknob. I filled it with Peppermint taffy. Yum!

The box was designed by Lauren Meader and is available at My Time Made Easy.
The digi comes with FOUR sentiments. I chose "Is it too late to be good?". Stop by the S2G Shop for this digi and many more that are perfect for the season! There are still some acrylic stamps available for $1 each and a few limited edition kits. But hurry because they're going fast!
Our talented and creative DT have holiday projects to share too, so stop by their blogs. Their links are in my sidebar.
My grandkids are here, and excitement is in the air! Hubby and I have been busy entertaining them and having "adventures".
My grandson has been talking about making sugar cookies with me since I visited him last month. Here he is. He loved the flour! He said it was so soft! I think he would have been happy just to play with flour and some cookie cutters! LOL

I don't know if there was more flour on him or on the countertop!

                        Who wants a cookie?

We also made a batch of Holiday Pretzels. They are so easy! A pretzel, a Hershey Kiss (melted), and an M&M on top.

The Taste Test. Deeeee-licious!
Happy Holidays to all! Enjoy the Season!

I chose the digi "Creatures Stirring". I LOVE cats! Not so fond of mice, except as digis. LOL But these two together are adorable! Can you see the flocking? It's on the cat's nose and stripes. (Double click for a closer look.)

"Let It Snow" at Pixie Dust this Week!

This week's challenge is to use white and non-traditional colors and create a Christmas card. I chose to use "Pixie Ginger and Friends".

Don't you just LOVE her little Gingerbread Friends? The theme is
Let It Snow", so I added some snowflake buttons from Dress It Up. Pink and Cranberry are my non-traditional colors. Enter this week's challenge and you could win a Pixie Dust digi of your choice and a Winner's badge for your blog! Enter your project HERE. Need inspiration? The Pixies have a lot to share. Their links are in my sidebar. Stop by the Pixie Dust Studio, and see what's new!

Speaking of snow, we got some last week. There's even a little still on the ground! We had just put up our outside decorations, so it was a perfect photo op!

Hubby decided he wanted Christmas cards using some of the snow scenes around our house, so that's what I'll be working on tomorrow. Happy Crafting!

Bring out the Glitter and Bling for the TT Challenge at S2G!

This week's Twisted Thursday Challenge is Glitter and Bling.

I chose the digital images "Christmas Jollies". The set comes with FOUR round images:

Santa,

Reindeer,

Snowman,

and Elf.

I colored the images digitally and with Copic markers. Then I printed them out on Grafix Rub-On Paper. How did I apply them to the glass ornaments? Watch the video by Lauren Meader HERE to find out.
I painted a layer of clear nail polish over the images after they were adhered. Then they were decorated with Stickles and ribbons were added. I poured white glitter inside of the Snowman and Reindeer ornaments. You could resize the images larger and adhere them to coasters with Mod Podge. Perfect for the holidays! Place them on giftbags, etc. So many possibilities! See what the DT members have made with their holiday images. Their links are in my sidebar. Join us for this week's challenge and link your project HERE. You could win a digi and a Winner's Badge for your blog! Enjoy the Season!

This collection features Rosalie, Emmett, Santa Edward, and Santa Jacob.
"Eclipse", the movie, will be released on DVD tomorrow! Have you reserved your copy?

I made another page for my "never ending" Twi Book! LOL This page features Rosalie.

Here is a quote from the book, New Moon. It represents the scene where Bella asks the Cullen family to vote "Yes" to her desire to become a Vampire. If you missed any pages in my Twi Book, you can check them out HERE.

Its All About Weddings and Anniversaries at Pixie Dust Studio!

This week's Challenge theme is "Let's Get Married!" at the Pixie Dust Studio. Choose a Wedding or Anniversary theme for this challenge. I chose something for the Bride.

This is the "Leaf Fairy" from the "Leaves Collection".

I dressed her up in pink tulle and added some Stickles for sparkle. How fun it must be to get married wearing pink!
The Pixies each have their own ideas for this week's challenge. Stop by their blogs to see what they've created. Link your creation HERE for a chance to win a Pixie Dust digi and a Winner's Badge for your blog.

Kathy has a new release scheduled for this Friday to celebrate the release of "Eclipse" on DVD! You don't want to miss it! Stop by here tomorrow. I'll have some eye candy featuring the new digis! The Eclipse Collection will be available in the Pixie Dust Studio then!

Get out the Buttons and Bows for this Week's Twisted Thursday!

Grab your buttons and bows for this week's S2G TT Challenge! I chose the image "Won't Go". I love the singing cats!

The Christmas tree is actually a button from Dress It Up. The striped ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and reminds me of one of my favorite childhood Christmas candy treats: candy ribbon. I also added a real satin ribbon bow to the cat's neck. DP is DCWV.
Stop by the the blogs of our talented DT to see how they used buttons and bows. Their links are in my sidebar. We have different images too, so take a look for some Christmas inspiration. See something you like? All images are available in the S2G Shop.
I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge. Link your creation HERE for your chance to win a S2G digi and a Winner's Badge for your blog! Happy crafting!
