Let's Emboss this Week at Pixie Dust Studio!

I chose dry embossing for this week's challenge. The image is "Lil' Mermaid" from the Ahoy Collection. I used a MS punch and a Swirl embossing folder. A string of purple sequins adds some extra bling.

It's Sketch Time at MTMEPPS!

Mother's Day is just around the corner! I used one of the images from the Fine Finish Collection. The green wavy DP is from the Color Infusion Collection. Butterfly DP is from Parade of Patterns, and the orange stripe DP is from Under the Cabana. All of these goodies are available in the My Time Made Easy Shop.

Look What's New at Softpencil Studios!

Elizabeth has designed STICKERS! The little girl with a watering can and the butterflies are from the collection Garden of Friends. You can find them in the Softpencil Studios now! You get an entire sheet of stickers for only $2.50.

Here's a closer look.

I recycled a tin left over from Christmas for this project. The sides and top were covered with DP. 

A MS border punch was added to the bottom. The stickers were placed on Spellbinder die cuts. Then the lid was covered in DP and a paper flower was added.

I also used Spellbinder dies to make the flower on top.

 I chose the image "Ladybug and Flower". My daughter loves ladybugs so I made a ladybug candle for her. 

I made a gift box too.  I cut a window so the candle could be viewed inside the box. The template is a design by Lauren Meader, Get a Handle on It, and is available at Papertrey Ink.

It's Release Day for the "Ahoy Collection" at Pixie Dust Studio!

This little guy is "Lil' Mr. Sailor". I think he's adorable! I found the DP at Archiver's, and thought it was perfect for this image. I love all the little monsters. This image along with the rest of the collection is available in the Pixie Dust Studio today!

Let's See "Clouds, Sky, and Rainbows" this Week at Pixie Dust Studio!

This week's challenge at Pixie Dust Studio is to show clouds, sky, and rainbows on your card or project.

I found my rainbow DP at Michael's, and it's perfect for this week's challenge. I decided to make a circle card so I could use my new scalloped circle template. The image is "Pixie Ark" from the Oh Baby Collection. The textured waves are made from a scrap in my stash. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

"Let's Get Sketchy" at MTMEPPS!

Blue is my favorite color, but I really like to use pink when making cards. Not this week! I was inspired by MTME DP from the Romance and Crawling Vine Silhouettes Collections. I love how the colors coordinate so you can mix and match collections!

The digital image is from the newly released Fine Finish Collection. I colored it digitally on my computer. The butterflies were made with a MS punch. The ribbon and lace are from Hobby Lobby. CS is Bazzill.

I'm a Belle of the Belli Guest Designer!

I am thrilled to be a Belle of the Belli Guest Designerfor Creative Belli Challenges! This week's challenge is to use three shapes on your card. I chose to make a two sided easel card for this week's challenge. Can you find my three shapes? The base of the card is a rectangle. The sentiment is placed on an oval, and the images are on circles.

 The images are from Pixie Dust Studio. The rabbit is "Peter the Rabbit" from the Egg Hunt Collection. The two eggs were borrowed from the image "Bunny Walter" from the Bunny Tales Collection. The sentiment is from Digital Delights. 

 The card was made with an 8"x 8" piece of CS. It was scored in half. and then in half again down to the score line. I then cut on the score line and stopped where it ended at the center of the card. Then score lines were made diagonally, and the flaps were folded toward the center. Then circles were glued to the flaps. 

 The spirit of the Belli challenges is to encourage you to use your OLD and FORGOTTEN embellishments! (My old embellishments are the pink felt flowers with rhinestones in the center. I found them in the Dollar bin last year at Michael's.)  Everyone is welcome to play along! Challenge a stamping friend!

"Happy Easter" from Softpencil Studios!

Are you ready for Easter? If you need some Easter digis, Elizabeth has some adorable ones!

This week the Softpencil DT is showcasing "Easter Chick". I just love how the Tiny Twinies are peeking around the flower bush at the little chick hatching out of the egg. I colored the image with Copic markers and added Stickles to the flowers. Then rhinestones were added. Ribbon was threaded through the MS border.
