For my first project I made a card using the image "Pretty Panda" from the mini Asian Collection which is also part of the Compass Collection. I couldn't resist placing a tiny  butterfly on the panda's nose! Just tooo cute! DP is from Deja Views, Fresh Print Plum, Paper Punch-Out Pad.

For my next project I used the remaining three images from the Asian Collection. The images are: Asian Princess, Asian Prince, and Cherry Blossom. I used the template, Wonderfully Wrapped, from My Time Made Easy. 

Here are closer views of the digi images. I "fussy cut" the cherry blossom trees. DP is from Michael's (Single Sheet Off the Rack) Recollections.

It's a Pixie Flix Challenge!

Pixie LOVES movies! I do too! Pixie Dust Studio is introducing its first Movie Challenge, "Pixie Flix"! We are going to give you some "teasers" to help you guess the name of the movie. How Fun!!!

It begins with a Summer romance and ends with a Graduation.

It is a musical set in the 50's.

The girls LOVE Pink.

The girls have a sleepover.

The boys have a car race.

"Brusha, Brusha, Brusha!" 

Here is my card that gives you a hint about the movie. I used the images, Soda Pop Girl and Lover Boy. Don't you just LOVE her poodle skirt! The DP is from a Summer Stack by DCWV. I hope you enjoy this new and different challenge! We are planning more Pixie Flix Challenges in the future!

It's Softpencil Tuesday!

Need to make a quick card? Don't have time to color an image? Softpencil to the Rescue! Elizabeth has stickers that are gorgeous and perfect for cards! I made this card in less than thirty minutes!

It's Day One of Sneak Peeks for "Feed the Birds"!

Today I'm showcasing the digital image "Ladybug and Flower". I've used this image before, and it's one of my favorites! I decided to make a scrapbook page. This picture was taken last Halloween. My daughter and granddaughter were both Ladybugs, so "Ladybug and Flower" was the perfect image!

It's a 3 DP Challenge at Pixie Dust Studio!

Use THREE Designer Papers for this week's challenge. Never used three DPs before? Here's how. First choose a main color. (I chose pink.) Pull out a stack of papers in the same color family. Now mix and match pattern sizes. I chose one small, one medium, and one larger. Try different sizes together and see how they look. All too big? Your eye has no where to focus. All too small? they tend to all blend together. Lay them out and move them around until you find three that are just right.

I chose the image "Flower Power Pixie" from Pixie's Favorite Things Collection. Stop by the Studio and choose your favorite image for this week's "3 DP" Challenge.
