To help us forget about all this hot weather, the challenge this week at Pixie Dust Studio is to make a Christmas or Winter card or project. I had a hard time deciding which Pixie Dust image to color this week. Kathy has so many cute images for Christmas and winter in the Pixie Dust Studio.
I finally decide on "January Pixie". I think she is so cute! I used blue and white glittered CS as accents on the card. They don't show up so well on the photo. Double click if you want a closer look. I also used my favorite ribbon: wired Organza.
I have a Pixie Tip for you. See my snowflakes? They were made using a MS Snowflake punch. The "arms" of the snowflake are very fragile and tend to break off. This is what I did. I took some silver wrapping paper and glued it to CS. Then I punched out the snowflakes and glued them to the card. A rhinestone attached to the center was the perfect touch of bling.
I hope you'll join the Pixies for this week's challenge! Enter your project HERE for a chance to win a Pixie Dust image of your choice and a Winner's Badge for your blog. Need some inspiration?
