"Looking for Love" at Pixie Dust Studio

By now I'm sure you've heard the news. Kristen was caught cheating on Rob! GASP! 

Kathy designed a new stamp "Looking for Love" to mark the event. 

I could not wait to make a project. I have been making pages for my "Never Ending Twi" book, but I never thought I would make this one! Rob has moved out of the home he shared with Kristen, and it doesn't look like he's going to take her back.

So now Rob may soon be "Looking for Love". He has his rose in hand, girls! The line forms to the left!

Here is my project for the Hop. I had so much FUN making it!

I found a Memory Box on sale at Hobby Lobby and decided to give it a try. I had trouble getting a clear photo because of the glare on the glass, so I took it out of the frame for the rest of this "shoot".

These two guys are the main characters in Pixie's Mystery flix. This is the amazing digi that you could have a chance to win! I made the little scroll myself and popped it up with a Pop Dot. (One of my fave embellies!)

A woman is thrown from a moving train in the movie, so I included a train in my collage. This image is Pixie Steam Train. It's from the Pixie Steampunk Collection.

In the ovals are two more characters from the movie: the wife of one of the main characters and the Evil Genius. They are Miss Studio Priss and Sir Studio Punk. They are also members of the Pixie Steampunk Collection.

I also found these adorable metal embellies at Hobby Lobby. They are "Spare Parts" from  The Paper Studio.

Here is the entire collage "out of the box". I'm really pleased with how it turned out, and it is now on display in my livingroom.

While visiting my daughter, I couldn't resist doing a photo session with my granddaughter. (Her brother would have nothing to do with posing for me.) The page above captures the moment when enough was enough! She actually tipped the chair over!

It's My Day to Share Some Faves at Pixie Dust Studio!

Today I'm sharing a new image from the Pixie Dust Compass Collection.

This image is "Nautical Pixie". It's so nice to have a "girly" pirate for a change!

 

Here is a closer view of the image. The template that I used is Treasured, and it is available at My Time Made Easy. The base of the box was inked with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink. LOVE that Vintage look! DP is from K and Company.

Here is a closeup of the flowers on top of the box. Can you believe that I made them myself out of paper? I did! I slightly altered the Cut File, Rolled Bloom Daisy, also available at MY Time Made Easy.

I couldn't resist making a little matching tag. I added some of the same lace and ribbon that I used on the Treasure Box.
