Next is "Catching a Smile". Isn't she a sweet little fairy! She was colored with Copic markers and accented with Stickles.
Tomorrow is Release Day for the fabulous "Breeze" collection! It will be available in the Pixie Dust Studio then! I'll have more peeks tomorrow, along with a new Pixie Dust Challenge. I hope you'll stop by!

Day One of Sneak Peeks for the "Breeze" Collection from Pixie Dust Studio!

I LOVE the name of this collection! As always, the digis are adorable!
This image is "Pixie and Peep". The image was colored with Copic markers and accented with Stickles. I found the little butterfly charm in the dollar bin at Michael's. A crocheted flower was placed under the paper rose. The punch is from MS.

This next image is "Shamrock Elf" and he is just perfect for St. Patrick's Day. He was also colored with Copics and accented with Stickles. I had a chain of shamrocks and beads in my stash. I don't even remember where it came from! I cut off one of the shamrocks and hot glued it to the flower.
Stop by tomorrow, and I'll have more peeks for the "Breeze" Collection! Hope to see you then!

"Case an Old Card" this Week at Pixie Dust Studio!

Do you have a card that you love? I do! When I found out that this week's challenge was to "Case an Old Card", I knew exactly the one I would choose.
My "old" card is on the left. I made it for Easter last year. The image is "Peter the Rabbit" from the Egg Hunt Collection.
My "new" card is on the right. I followed the same LO and placed embellishments in the same place.
I chose "Miss Studio Priss" from the Steampunk Collection.
I LOVE how both of these cards turned out!

"Use Your Scraps" this Week at Delightful Challenges

I am thrilled to announce that "Edward and Bella's Honeymoon House" won me a Guest Designer spot at Delightful Challenges!
This week's challenge is "Use Your Scraps" so I searched through my HUGE Scrap Box for inspiration.

I had just enough yellow DP to cover this little wooden bench that has been sitting on a shelf in my Craftroom for over a year. First, I painted the bench yellow with acrylic paint. It's always a good idea to paint the object in case your paper piecing doesn't quite meet, or there are very small areas that you don't choose to cover. I didn't cover the sides of the slats on the bench.

My Cricut was used to cut out the vines. Then satin roses were hot glued on along with a decorative MS border.

The "Happy Easter" sentiment from Digital Delights was just perfect for this project!

The same sentiment was used for the tag along with the adorable image "Easter Daisy".
What's in your scrap box? Take a look and enter your project HERE. You could win a prize or even be chosen as next week's Guest Designer! Stop by the Delightful Challenges Blog to see the amazing projects created by the DT.

Wedding Wishes!

I made this wedding card for my niece who is getting married this month. I wanted something simple and elegant. I used the Lily of the Valley stamp from Papertrey Ink's Year of Flowers. I stamped and embossed them with a heat gun. I like the way it turned out, and I hope my niece will too.

More Sweet Treats for Valentine's Day!

I LOVE Valentine's Day! It's one of my favorite holidays! My last name is Darling (Thank you, Hubby) so it's expected! LOL I also LOVE making sweet treats for my kids. This is what I made this year.

The purses were made using Lauren Meader's Purse-onality template available at Papertrey Ink.

The flowers are from Recollections. I added grosgrain ribbon to the handles to make them more surdy and attached them with flower brads. The purses are filled with Lindor Truffles. YUMMMMM.

Next I found some paper mache boxes at Hobby Lobby.

I covered them with DP, added ribbon around the lid, and made a flower out of ribbon for the top.

I also made my son's favorite sugar cookies with buttercream icing. They have to be homemade because my son can tell the difference!

I didn't forget Hubby! I made his favorite Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies with dark brown sugar, extra crispy.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope your day is extra sweet!
Stop by tomorrow and I'll have peeks for  Pixie Dust Studio's newest release:

See you tomorrow!

Seeing Double at Pixie Dust Studio this Week

Seeing double? We want to see two images this week....two separate images or a couple. I chose one of my favorite couples: Edward and Bella.
I found a paper mache house at Hobby Lobby. I LOVE paper piecing so that's what I did to the house. I've named it "Edward and Bella's Honeymoon House". LOL
MS punches were used to make the picket fence and roof edging. I embossed some heavy translucent vellum and attached it to the back of each window.

This image of Bella and Edward is "Forever" from the Breaking Dawn Collection. The door and roof are made of Glitter CS.
The roof is removable, and I placed a battery operated Votive light inside.

Sweet Treats

I made these sweet treats as Valentine's Day gifts.

They are so quick and easy to make! I used the new Card Candy Cut File template from My Time Made Easy.

It's a card and a gift box all in one! I cut a heart window, and covered it with clear plastic. Can't have the candy falling out! LOL I filled the box with Reese's peanut butter cups. YUMMMMM.
Hearts were cut using Nestabilities. DP is Queen of Hearts digital paper by Jazzy Patterns available at My Grafico.
What will you make for Valentine's Day?
