I'm in Love....

with SVG Cuts
I LOVE Valentine's Day! I found the cutest patterns over at SVG Cuts that were just perfect for this special day!
The boxes are from the "Love Me Do" kit.
A string of pearls from Hobby Lobby was hot glued around the lid. The heart doily is from the "For My Valentine" kit. I found the small flowers in a pack of twelve at Michael's in the Dollar bin.
This lovely rose can be found in the "Crush On You Boxes" kit.

Pixie Tip: Use a low temp hot glue gun to quickly and easily glue each petal onto the rose.
These kits come with so many elements and are so reasonably priced! I'm so glad I found this site!

More Sweet Treats for Valentine's Day!

I LOVE Valentine's Day! It's one of my favorite holidays! My last name is Darling (Thank you, Hubby) so it's expected! LOL I also LOVE making sweet treats for my kids. This is what I made this year.

The purses were made using Lauren Meader's Purse-onality template available at Papertrey Ink.

The flowers are from Recollections. I added grosgrain ribbon to the handles to make them more surdy and attached them with flower brads. The purses are filled with Lindor Truffles. YUMMMMM.

Next I found some paper mache boxes at Hobby Lobby.

I covered them with DP, added ribbon around the lid, and made a flower out of ribbon for the top.

I also made my son's favorite sugar cookies with buttercream icing. They have to be homemade because my son can tell the difference!

I didn't forget Hubby! I made his favorite Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies with dark brown sugar, extra crispy.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope your day is extra sweet!
Stop by tomorrow and I'll have peeks for  Pixie Dust Studio's newest release:

See you tomorrow!

Seeing Double at Pixie Dust Studio this Week

Seeing double? We want to see two images this week....two separate images or a couple. I chose one of my favorite couples: Edward and Bella.
I found a paper mache house at Hobby Lobby. I LOVE paper piecing so that's what I did to the house. I've named it "Edward and Bella's Honeymoon House". LOL
MS punches were used to make the picket fence and roof edging. I embossed some heavy translucent vellum and attached it to the back of each window.

This image of Bella and Edward is "Forever" from the Breaking Dawn Collection. The door and roof are made of Glitter CS.
The roof is removable, and I placed a battery operated Votive light inside.

What will you create for this week's challenge? For inspiration check out the blogs of our talented Pixie DT. Their links are in my sidebar.  Enter your project HERE for a chance to win a Pixie Dust image of your choice and a Pixie Star Award Badge for your blog. Need some cute images? Stop by the Studio!  There are so many to choose from! We can't wait to see what you create!
