Welcome to Day One of the Pixie Dust Ginger Snap Blog Hop!

Welcome to Day One of the Three Day Pixie Dust "Ginger Snap!" Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Sherri's blog, then you're in the right place! If not, start at the beginning at the Pixie Dust Studio Blog.  Participating Pixies will present a new project on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Each day Pixie will select a "Mystery Blog". One comment will be randomly chosen from that blog, and the lucky hopper will win one digi. In addition, there will be a Grand Prize each day of the Hop! THREE Pixie Dust images will be won by a random commenter who comments on all participating blogs and answers the question on Pixie's (Kathy's) blog. Be sure to come back each day of the Hop to see all of the new images, amazing projects, and more chances to WIN! Comments for all three days will close on Monday at noon CST.

I chose the image "Ginger Santa". I think it's adorable with the little Gingerbread people helping Santa.

I used the template Sleigh Ride from My Time Made Easy.

A cellophane bag was filled with Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses YUMMMM... and tied with a bow.

I cut a poinsettia out of CS, glittered the edges, and added a button to the center.

This project would make a cute favor at a Christmas party. I LOVE how it turned out!
Now it's time to hop on over to Kathy's blog and answer the question she has for you. Kathy is the owner and amazing illustrator of all the Pixie Dust images!
I hope you'll come back and visit again tomorrow! The Pixies will have more projects to share featuring The Ginger Snap Collection. Prizes can be won on all three days!
You can find the entire Ginger Stamp Collection in the Pixie Dust Studio now!
Happy hopping!

It's Time for Another Challenge at ABAC!

I LOVE Christmas! I couldn't resist making this adorable teapot and teacup with the DP I had been saving in my stash. The lace and rhinestone brad is from Hobby Lobby. I had been saving them for just the right project, and this was the one! The berries were purchased at Michael's last year after Christmas, and were marked way down, so I snapped them up!

The teapot is from the Tea for You and Me Kit from SVG Cuts, and it has been slightly altered. Actually I was forced to alter it. I somehow managed to turn the teapot upside down when I attached the handle and the spout. When it was time to make the lid, it wouldn't fit, so I had to redesign the top of the pot and the lid. Then I decided to add lace around the rim of the lid and the bottom of the pot to give it a Victorian look.

I made a teacup using the Grab a Cup template from My Time Made Easy. It goes together so quickly. I made a bunch of them this summer for my daughter's baby shower. I liked them so much that I made one to match the teapot.
I hope you'll join us for this challenge. You could win a fabulous prize and even be a Guest Designer at "Anything But a Card."

It's Release Day for the "Toybox Collection"! It's available NOW in the Pixie Dust Studio!
I have one final card in the collection to share. It's "Missy Claus", and she is just perfect for the holidays!
She was so much fun to color! I used flocking mixed with glitter for the trim on the hat and collar. I then added some Stickles and rhinestones for bling. See what the rest of the Pixies are showcasing today. Their links are in my sidebar. Thanks for stopping by!

Look Out Below!

Today is Thursday, and you know what that means! It's Softpencil
Preview Day! Isn't this image adorable! It is called "Michu is Giving
Gifts Away." Michu is the little cat and his mouse friend is Ratiny.
Read all about the real Muchula who was the inspiration for Michu
here. I colored Michu to look like one of my cats who is no longer
with us. Danny Boy had a gray spot over one eye and a white face
and paws. The challenge this week is to add "golden touches." My
gold was cut from glittery CS from The Paper Studio. I used MS
punches. Rhinestones were added to the large snowflakes. I found
the presents in the Hot Spot bin at Archiver's. They are buttons from
"Dress It Up." I used a gold gel pen to add highlights to the image,
and MS glitter was added to the Santa hat. A Fiskar's Snowflake
plate was used to emboss the background. Michu is delivering gifts
as he flies through the air. BTW Michula turned three this week.
Happy Birthday, Michula!
I hope you'll join us at Paper Craft Planet this week. You could win
some of Elizabeth's adorable digis! Check out the new images in
Elizabeth's Etsy Shop. For inspiration visit the rest of the very
talented DT's blogs, Their links are in my sidebar.
