"LILLY"!
Isn't she the sweetest! This is one of
Elizabeth Pujalka's Softpencil images. I used my favorite shades of blue on this card. I also paper pieced her dress, shoes, hairbow, and flower. How do you paper piece? Well, I will tell you and also give you some paper piecing tips. I printed three images of Lilly. The first was printed on white CS, the second on the heart DP, and the third was printed on the blue swirl DP. It's easier if you first color the image printed on white CS. I colored only her skin and hair. Then I cut the dress with ruffles, the shoes, and bow out of the blue swirl paper. I used a glue pen to attach the DP. Apply the glue to the white uncolored portions of the CS and lay the blue cut pieces on top of the glue. It's a lot easier than trying to apply the glue to tiny little pieces of paper. Next I cut the dress out, minus the ruffles, because the ruffles have already been cut from the blue swirl paper. Apply glue to the dress and lay the heart DP on top. I did leave the stem of the flower on the heart DP and colored it with a green Copic marker. I embossed some pink paper, and cut the flower out from that. I shaded the flower and dress around the edges with Copic markers.
Chocolate Truffle CS is Bazzill. White CS is Staples. DP is "The Paper Studio". Flowers are "Got Flowers?". Rhinestones are Studio 18, and ribbon is Hobby Lobby. Tools used: Nesties, Provo Craft Embossing Folder, and MS Punch, Chalk.
