Shabby Chic

This my card for WCMD a day late. I hope you got a chance to play yesterday. If you didn't, hop on over to  Mandy's blog Some of the games are still going on. It's not too late to enter! I used Mandy's sketch from Limelight Papercrafts. The challenge was to use the sketch and add texture.
This card also fits Paper Play "Pale and Interesting",
Flutter by Wednesday "Pink and Butterflies,"
Unity WCMD "Focal Sentiment" at SCS,
and Crazy 4 Challenges "Sew Happy."
I used K and Co. Designer CS, heavy vellum, and a Stampabilities sentiment. I stitched and distressed the area around the sentiment. I embossed the vellum using a Provo Craft "Swirls" folder. The butterflies
were cut with a MS punch, sprayed with Tattered Angels Pearl Glimmer Mist, and decorated with Hero Arts Gemstones. Ribbon is Hobby Lobby.

  1. This is GORGEOUS, Cat! I love the butterflies, and that they are not all in a row. :) You could use this for the Unity Stamps WCMD challenge on SCS, too, ya know... the one where the main focal image needs to be a sentiment! Thanks for the birthday wishes, too, by the way! :) So sweet of you to remember!
