It's a Favorite Colors S2G Twisted Thursday!

What's your favorite color? Mine is blue. A LOT of my clothing is blue. Every room in my house has some blue in it. Most of the carpeting in the house is blue. My eyes are even blue! But I find myself using a lot of pink since I became a Cardmaker, so that's what I'm featuring today!
The S2G theme this month is "Home". I LOVE the sentiment on this card! When I saw this image it reminded me of a coat that my sister had when we were little. We didn't think we were "little" back then. We thought we were "Young Ladies"! I had a blue coat (What a surprise!), and my sister had a black and white herringbone coat. She accessorized it with magenta gloves and a magenta colored hat. I thought it was so pretty! I had never heard of the color "magenta" before, and I thought it sounded exotic! My sister had curly hair, so I added some. I think those swirls on the hat are supposed to be flowers, but I added more and turned them into curls.
I used my brand new Multi-Shaper punch from EasyCut Craft to make the lacy border. I hand stitched the flower using pink satin ribbon and two organza ribbons that were purchased at Hobby Lobby.
Stop by the rest of the DT's blogs. We all have different images. Let our talented Girls inspire you to create a card using your favorite color! Link your card HERE. Two winners will be chosen to receive TWO digis each and a Winner's Badge for their blogs! Did you know that almost all S2G cards come with sentiments? Check them out in the S2G Shop. They're sure to brighten your day!
